6. Changing the unit of temperature
To change the temperature unit between °C and °F, press the
"Strength" buon and the "Tea" buon simultaneously for about 2 seconds.
7. Descaling and cleaning
We recommend to descale the kele at regular intervals depending upon the in-
tensity of use. Before cleaning, pull out the power plug and wait unl the appliance
cools down completely. Please use only commercially available descaling agents
based on citric acid to descale the water container.
For the appropriate dosage, please refer to the specicaons on the package or
insert of the descaling agent. The heang plate should not be specically cleaned.
Do not use any hard objects on the heang plate.
Use only a damp cloth for cleaning the kele externally. Do not use any abrasive
items like wire brush or steel sponge for cleaning. Never use any cleaning agents
which may corrode the surface or present a health risk if consumed! Never im-
merse the appliance, the power cable or the plug in water or in any other liquid to
prevent risk of electric shock.

Please do not try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modicaons by
yourself. Avoid contact with the mains supply. The appliance does not carry current
only when disconnected. Please do not short-circuit the product. Do not forget to
disconnect the power cord when the appliance is not being used or during thun-
derstorms. The appliance is not approved for outdoor use. Please use it only in dry
surroundings.
Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Never expose the appliance to high
outside temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temper-
ature or strong vibraons, as this could damage the electronic components. Check
the appliance for any damage before using it. The appliance should not be used
if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in some other way. Get in
