5. Usage
5.1 Boiling water
Turn the lid (8) counter-clockwise to the le to open it. Fill the kele with cold
water and replace the lid.
Note: A scale is provided on the outside. Do not ll the container above the max-
imum mark. The boiling water may spurt out if the kele is overlled. Make sure
that the total quanty of water is only 1 l when brewing tea. The minimum quanty
of water is 500 ml. When boiling water normally, the maximum quanty of water
is 1.7 l. Then place the kele on the base plate.
Next to the display on the base staon, buons are provided for selecng dierent
water temperatures and for selecng the desired tea brewing me. Press the "Up"
and "Down" buons of the individual temperature seng (12) and the individual
me seng (13) to make the desired sengs. You can nd out more about making
tea in the chapter "Boiling tea".
Press the "ON/OFF" buon to start the boiling funcon subsequently. As soon as
the water reaches the set temperature, the kele switches o and you hear two
beeps. Please remember that the boiling process may be interrupted briey below
100°C by intermediate measurements. Please wait unl the boiling process is n-
ished. That is conrmed by the audible signal. The heang element switches o
automacally and the boiling process is stopped. The appliance can now be lied
and the water can be used.
5.2 Boiling tea
Remove the tea sieve from the kele and ll it with the desired amount of tea. An
example for lling can be found in the table below:
