5. Usage
5.1 Boiling water
Turn the lid (8) counter-clockwise to the le to open it. Fill the kele with cold
water and replace the lid.
Note: A scale is provided on the outside. Do not ll the container above the max-
imum mark. The boiling water may spurt out if the kele is overlled. Make sure
that the total quanty of water is only 1 l when brewing tea. The minimum quanty
of water is 500 ml. When boiling water normally, the maximum quanty of water
is 1.7 l. Then place the kele on the base plate.
Next to the display on the base staon, buons are provided for selecng dierent
water temperatures and for selecng the desired tea brewing me. Press the "Up"
and "Down" buons of the individual temperature seng (12) and the individual
me seng (13) to make the desired sengs. You can nd out more about making
tea in the chapter "Boiling tea".
Press the "ON/OFF" buon to start the boiling funcon subsequently. As soon as
the water reaches the set temperature, the kele switches o and you hear two
beeps. Please remember that the boiling process may be interrupted briey below
100°C by intermediate measurements. Please wait unl the boiling process is n-
ished. That is conrmed by the audible signal. The heang element switches o
automacally and the boiling process is stopped. The appliance can now be lied
and the water can be used.
