4. Inial use

Check if the product and the components are intact and if the appliance is working

properly when using it for the rst me Remove the kele and the base staon

out of the packaging and connect the base to a properly installed earthed socket.

Wipe the surface of the kele using a slightly dampened cloth. To remove any man-

ufacturing residues, ll the water container once with cold water up to the max-

imum mark before using it for the rst me. Boil the water by rst switching the

appliance to full operaon using the "ON/OFF" buon (6) (display is illuminated).

Alternavely, you can also press the arrow keys up/down directly for the "individ-

ual temperature seng (12) unl the displayed temperature reaches 100°C. Then

press the "ON/OFF" buon (6) at the top of the base staon to start the boiling op-

eraon. Discard the water aer the inial boiling. Do not operate the appliance un-

aended and check it for damage and proper assembly before using it each me.

Repeat this process as needed.
