Lockly PGD628WSN Questions and Answers

#1 Is the hub part of the lock or a separate device that needs to be plugged in?

It’s a small thing that needs to be plugged in nearby.

#2 Is it always auto lock? Or can it be set to not auto lock during business hours?

You can go into the Settings of the lock and find the Auto-Lock and disable that feature. There is not a way at this time to schedule when it will auto-lock and when it will not. You can adjust the time before it auto-locks or disable it completely.

#3 What type is the key cylinder and who makes it?

If you are asking what keyway, it's a Schlage C series 6 pin for the deadbolt, and for some strange reason, the handle version is only a 5 pin.

#4 Can one wifi hub manage 3 of the locks?

The Wi-Fi hub can support up to 4 Lockly locks and each Lockly must be within Bluetooth range of the WiFi hub. Generally, Bluetooth range is 25-30 feet (unobstructed); however, walls and other obstructions can reduce the range. Optimal range is 10-15 feet. Please also keep in mind that each WiFi Hub only comes with one door sensor.

#5 Have any of you had the device break, I see bad reviews? Will this fit a top deadbolt/bottom door handle? Will the key work even if battery dies?

It is a wonderful concept that has not been properly developed. Save yourself a LOT of trouble, and just get the Schlage pushbutton lock. I had 3 of these trying to get one to work, none of them worked.

#6 I have six doors on my property. Can I keep track of multiple locks?

Yes. You can add multiple devices to their phone app and give them different names.
