Setting procedure
Select the appropriate temperature setting from the table.
Place the empty cookware on the cooking zone.
1.
Select the cooking zone. Touch auto chef. é lights
up in the cooking zone display.
2.
Within the next 10 seconds, select the required
temperature setting from the settings range.
The function has now been activated.
The é temperature symbol flashes until the frying
temperature is reached. A signal sounds and the
temperature symbol goes out.
3.
Once the frying temperature has been reached, add
the fat and then the food to the pan.
Note: Turn the food so that it does not burn.
Switching off AutoChef
®
Select the cooking zone and set it to ‹.‹ in the settings
range. The cooking zone switches itself off and the
residual heat indicator appears.
Panel Lock
You can use the panel lock to prevent children from
accidentally turning the appliance on.
Activating and deactivating the panel lock
The cooktop must be turned off.
To activate:
1.
Switch on the cooktop using the main switch.
2.
Touch the panel lock key for approx. 4seconds.
The D indicator lights up for 10seconds.
The cooktop is locked.
To deactivate:
1.
Switch on the cooktop using the main switch.
2.
Touch the panel lock key for approx. 4seconds.
The lock is released.
Automatic panel lock
With this function, the panel lock is automatically
activated whenever you turn off the cooktop.
Activating and deactivating
You can find out how to activate the automatic Panel
Lock in the section entitled ~ "Basic settings"
Wipe Protection
If you wipe over the control panel while the cooktop is
switched on, settings may be changed. To avoid doing
this, you can use the cooktop's "Lock control panel for
cleaning" function.
To switch on: Touch the panel lock touch key. An audible
signal sounds. The control panel is locked for
35 seconds. You can now wipe over the surface of the
control panel without changing any settings.
To deactivate: The control panel will be unlocked once
35seconds have elapsed. To release the function early,
touch the panel lock touch key.
Notes
▯ An audible signal sounds 30seconds after activation.
This indicates that the function is about to finish.
▯ The wipe protection function does not lock the main
switch. The cooktop can be switched off at any time.
Automatic time limitation
If the element is used for prolonged periods of time
without changes in the settings being made, the
automatic time limitation function is triggered.
The element stops heating. ”‰ and the residual heat
indicator •/œ flash alternately in the display.
The indicator goes out when any symbol is pressed. The
element can now be reset.
When the automatic time limitation is activated depends
on the selected heat level (from 1to 10hours).
