Troubleshooting
Using ash in <
f
> or <
d
> mode lowers the shutter speed.
z
Under [
z
: External Speedlite control], set [Slow synchro] to [1/180-
1/60sec. auto] or [1/180 sec. (xed)] (
=
224).
The ash does not re.
z
Make sure the ash is securely attached to the camera.
The ash always res at full output.
z
Flash units other than EL/EX series Speedlites used in autoash mode
always re at full output (
=
221).
z
When the ash Custom Function setting for [Flash metering mode] is
set to [TTL] (autoash), the ash will always re at full output (
=
230).
Flash exposure compensation cannot be set.
z
If ash exposure compensation is already set with the Speedlite, ash
exposure compensation cannot be set with the camera. When the
external Speedlite’s ash exposure compensation is canceled (set to 0),
ash exposure compensation can be set with the camera.
