• People with restricted physical, sensory or mental skills should be supervised by a
person responsible for their safety and receive instructions from this person on how to
use the device.
• If you have any of the following conditions, it is essential you consult your doctor before
using the device: cardiac arrhythmia, circulatory problems, diabetes, pregnancy, pre-
eclampsia, hypotension, chills, shaking.
• Do not use the device if you have implanted electrical implants (e.g. pacemaker).

• Do not use the device during an MRI scan.
• Do not use the device with persons with sensitive skin or allergies.

• The device displays changes in the heart rhythm, which may have various dierent
causes. These may be harmless, but may also be triggered by illnesses or diseases of
diering degrees of severity. Please consult a medical specialist if you believe you may
have an illness or disease.
• The device is not a substitute for a medical examination of your heart function or for
medical electrocardiogram recordings, which require more complex measurements.
• Do not use the device at the same time as other medical electrical devices (ME
equipment). This could cause the measuring device to malfunction and/or an inaccurate
measurement.
• Do not use or store the device in the following ambient conditions:
- Near fires or open flames
- Locations exposed to strong vibration
- Locations exposed to strong electromagnetic fields
CAUTION
• Do not expose the device to any static electricity. Always ensure that you are free of
static electricity before operating the device. Static electricity can damage electronic
components acc. to Sheila: Redundant statement, delete Contact with grounded objects
or devices will discharge the energy that has built up and cause electrostatic discharge.
• Do not place the device in pressure vessels or gas sterilisation devices.
• Do not use the device outside of the specified storage and operating conditions. This
could lead to incorrect measurements or damage to device.
• Do not drop, step on or shake the device.
• Do not dismantle the device as this may result in damage, defects or malfunctions.
• Do not allow the electrodes of the device to come into contact with other conductive
parts (including earth).
Battery Handling Safety Precautions
• Do not remove or attempt to remove the non-user-replaceable battery.
• Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.
• Batteries must not be short-circuited.
• Only use chargers specified in the instructions for use.
• Fully charge the battery prior to initial use and at least every 3 months.
• Protect batteries from excessive heat.
• Keep batteries away from children and pwenets. Batteries may be harmful if swallowed.
Should a child or pet swallow a battery, seek medical assistance immediately.
• If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, rinse the aected areas with
water and seek medical assistance.
• Do not disassemble, open or crush the batteries.
2. INTENDED USE
The device is a handheld, personal electrocardiograph unit, which can measure electrical
activites of the heart easily and conveniently. It is immediately available at any time to
manually record transient cardiac events, suitable for home health care use, which can
detect, display and store ECG signal, and if possible, provide average heart rate message
after ECG measurement. The users can use it themselves to check their heart condition.
It is suitable for the adult users, who suers from cardiovascular diseases, or the adult people
who are caring about their heart working conditions during their daily life. This device is not
intended for use as a conventional diagnostic tool, but use as a healthcare tool which can
provide doctor the recorded data as references.
The product is not a conventional diagnostic tool.

5. USAGE
In the entire text of this manual, the term “electrocardiogram”
will be abbreviated as “ECG” or “EKG” for easier reference.
5.1 Charging the battery
Connect the USB charging cable included in delivery to the USB charging port and to a USB
power supply or computer. Whilst charging, the current battery status
is displayed on
the display.
The device cannot be used while it is being charged.
As soon as the battery is fully charged,
appears on the display and you can unplug the
charging cable from the power supply and the charging port.
5.2 Measuring
1. To turn on the device press and hold the Power Button for about two seconds until the
device emits a beep.
2. Hold the device using one of the ways illustrated below. Choose the most appropriate
measuring location on your body for your particular use. The most suitable method/
procedure depends on the heart configuration (shape of the heart) of each individual user.
If it is not possible to take stable measurements using a given measurement method, this
could have a harmless cause such as the shape of the heart. However, the cause may
also be an illness or disease.

3. When the heart rate becomes stable, the EKG rhythm on the display turns green and the
30-second-measurement starts automatically. You can view the measurement countdown
in the lower right of the LCD Display.
4. After each measurement concludes, the results will appear in the LCD Display.
5. To start another measurement, place the device against your skin again and hold firmly.
6. To shut the device o, press and hold the Power Button for about two seconds until the
LCD Display shuts o. The device will also shut o automatically if it is not used for about
one minute.
How to measure correctly:
• If you have dry skin, moisten it with a damp cloth or with disinfectant alcohol before
measuring.
• Sit comfortably and upright.
• Never use the device on top of clothing.
• Press only lightly on the electrodes of the device, do not press too hard.
• During measurement do not have skin contact between your right and left hand (method
B) or your hand and chest (method A).
• Make sure both electrodes fully contact the skin until measurement completed.
• Do not speak or move during measuring.
• Repeat measurement if unsure of results.
• To ensure accurate comparison of values, always use the same measurement method.
5.3 Interpreting the results
When each measurement concludes, a message will appear in the LCD Display informing
you of the results. For any message other than „No Abnormalities,“ repeat the measurement
and consult your physician for advice. The measurement taken by you are for your
information only – they are no substitute for a medical examination.
5.4 Memory
To enter memory mode, press the power button, when the device is turned on. Press the
Power Button again to cycle through all saved results (up to 100).

• Click on the device in the app and follow the instructions.
• In „History,“ a list of measurements is displayed. Click on a measurement to enter the
EKG detail page, where you can download and share the data.
7. CARE, MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSAL
• Never submerge the device in water or other liquids. Do not clean the device with
acetone or other volatile solutions. Clean the device with a cloth dampened with water
or a mild cleaning liquid. Then dry the device using a dry cloth.
• When storing the device, make sure no heavy objects are placed on top of it.
8. DISPOSAL
Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with
local regulations. If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible
for waste disposal.

Limited Lifetime Warranty For Original Purchaser Your Beurer EKG Monitor, model ME 75, is
warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product under
normal conditions of intended use and service. This warranty extends only to the original retail
purchaser and does not extend to retailers or subsequent owners. We will, at our option, repair
or replace the Beurer EKG Monitor, model ME 75, without additional charge, for any part or
parts covered by these written warranties. No refunds will be given. Repair or replacement is
our only responsibility and your only remedy under this written warranty. If replacement parts for
defective materials are not available, Beurer reserves the right to make product substitutions in
lieu of repair or replacement.
For warranty service contact our customer service department at 1-800-536-0366 or at info@
beurer.com to provide a description of the problem. If the problem is deemed to be within the
scope of the limited lifetime warranty, you will be asked to mail the product at your costs in
its original package with proof of purchase, your name, address and phone number. If the
problem is not deemed to be within the scope of the limited lifetime warranty, we will provide
a quotation for repair respectively replacement and return shipping fee. This warranty does not
cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of unauthorized accessory;
alteration to the product; improper installation; misapplication; lack of reasonable care with
respect to the product; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/
power supply; old worn batteries; normal wear; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction

2. USO PREVISTO
El dispositivo es una unidad de electrocardiografía personal portátil que puede medir
las actividades eléctricas del corazón de forma sencilla y cómoda. Está inmediatamente
disponible en cualquier momento para registrar manualmente eventos cardíacos transitorios,
adecuado para el uso médico hogareño, que puede detectar, mostrar y almacenar la señal
de ECG y, si es posible, proporcionar un mensaje de frecuencia cardíaca media después
de la medición de ECG. Los usuarios pueden utilizarlo para comprobar su estado cardíaco.
Es adecuado para los usuarios adultos que sufren enfermedades cardiovasculares o para los
adultos que se preocupan por sus condiciones de funcionamiento cardiaco durante su vida
diaria. Este dispositivo no está diseñado para utilizarse como una herramienta de diagnóstico
convencional, sino como una herramienta médica que puede proporcionar al médico los
datos registrados como referencia.

5. USO
En todo el texto de este manual, el término “electrocardiograma” se abreviará como “ECG”
o “EKG” para facilitar la referencia.
5.1 Cargar la batería
Conecte el cable de carga USB incluido al puerto de carga USB y a una fuente de alimentación
USB o a un ordenador. Durante el proceso de carga
se muestra en la pantalla el estado
actual de la batería.
El dispositivo no se puede usar mientras se carga.
En cuanto la batería esté completamente cargada,
aparece en la pantalla y puede
desconectar el cable de carga de la fuente de alimentación y de la conexión de carga.
5.2 Medición
1. Para encender el dispositivo, mantenga pulsado el botón de encendido durante unos dos
segundos hasta que el dispositivo emita un pitido.
2. Sostenga el dispositivo de una de las formas que se ilustran a continuación. Elija el punto
de medición del cuerpo que mejor se adapte a su aplicación. El método/procedimiento
más adecuado depende de la configuración del corazón (forma del corazón) de cada
usuario individual. Si no es posible realizar mediciones estables con un método de
medición determinado, puede deberse a una causa inofensiva, como la forma del
corazón. Sin embargo, la causa también puede ser una enfermedad.

3. Cuando la frecuencia cardíaca se estabiliza, el ritmo del EKG en la pantalla se vuelve
verde y la medición de 30 segundos se inicia automáticamente. Puede ver la cuenta atrás
de la medición en la parte inferior derecha de la pantalla LCD.
4. Una vez finalizada cada medición, los resultados aparecerán en la pantalla LCD.
5. Para iniciar otra medición, vuelva a colocar el aparato sobre la piel y manténgalo en esa
posición.
6. Para apagar el dispositivo, mantenga pulsado el botón de encendido durante unos
dos segundos hasta que se apague la pantalla LCD. El dispositivo se apagará
automáticamente después de aproximadamente un minuto sin uso.
Cómo medir correctamente:
• Si tiene la piel seca, humedézcala con un paño húmedo o con alcohol desinfectante
antes de realizar la medición.
• Siéntese cómodamente y en posición erguida.
• No utilice nunca el aparato encima de la ropa.
• Presione ligeramente sobre los electrodos del aparato, pero no demasiado fuerte.
• Durante la medición, no tenga contacto con la piel entre la mano derecha y la izquierda
(método B) ni entre la mano y el pecho (método A).
• Asegúrese de que ambos electrodos estén completamente en contacto con la piel hasta
que finalice la medición.
• No hable ni se mueva durante la medición.
• Repita la medición si no está seguro de los resultados.
• Para garantizar una comparación exacta de los valores, utilice siempre el mismo método
de medición.
5.3 Interpretación de los resultados
Al finalizar cada medición, aparecerá un mensaje en la pantalla LCD que le informará de los
resultados. Si aparece cualquier mensaje distinto de “No hay anomalías”, repita la medición
y consulte a su médico. Las mediciones que usted haga son meramente informativas; no
son un sustituto de exámenes médicos.

5.4 Memoria
Para entrar en el modo de memoria, pulse el botón de encendido cuando el dispositivo
esté encendido. Pulse de nuevo el botón de encendido para desplazarse por todos los
resultados guardados (hasta 100).

7. CUIDADO, MANTENIMIENTO Y ELIMINACIÓN
• Nunca sumerja el dispositivo en agua ni en otros líquidos. No limpie el dispositivo con
acetona u otras soluciones volátiles. Limpie el dispositivo con un paño humedecido
con agua o un líquido de limpieza suave. A continuación, seque el aparato con un paño
seco.
• Cuando almacene el dispositivo, asegúrese de que no se pongan objetos pesados
sobre él.
8. ELIMINACIÓN
Respete las normas locales para la eliminación de materiales. Elimine el aparato de acuerdo
