4.3 Control element Twist Pad Flex

You can change the setting values by turning the con-
trol element Twist Pad Flex.
The Twist Pad Flex control element is magnetic and
can be removed. It can be mounted to the right or left
next to the display and is automatically centred.
Note:You can also operate the appliance in Classic
Mode using 2 Twist Pad Flex control elements. You
can find more information on Classic Mode online.
WARNING‒Danger: Magnetism!
Caution: Magnetism
Caution for people with pacemakers
Permanent magnets are used in the control panel and
in the control elements. These may impair the function-
ality of electronic implants, e.g. pacemakers or insulin
pumps.
Persons with electronic implants must stand at least
10cm away from the control panel and the mag-
netic controls.
Never put the control in your pockets.
WARNING‒Risk of injury!
Children and adults may be injured by the falling con-
trol Twist Pad Flex.
Remove the control element Twist Pad Flex before
cleaning.
Only place the control Twist Pad Flex at one of the
specified positions on the control panel.
ATTENTION!
The removable control element Twist Pad Flex is mag-
netic. Metal particles which stick to the underside may
scratch the control panel.
Keep the control element Twist Pad Flex clean.
Remove all metal particles on the underside.
The magnet in the removable control element Twist
Pad Flex may affect other appliances and irreparably
damage magnetic data carriers.
Keep the control element Twist Pad Flex away from
magnetic data carriers, e.g. video cassettes, disks,
credit cards or cards with magnetic strips
Keep the control element Twist Pad Flex away from
televisions and monitors.
4.4 Buttons
The buttons are touch-sensitive areas. To select a function, press the corresponding button.

On/Off Switch the appliance on or off
HomeConnect Display for HomeConnect. The field has no further function.
When the symbol lights up, the appliance is connected.

4.5 Cooking compartment
Various functions in the cooking compartment provide
support when operating your appliance.
Shelf supports
The shelf supports in the cooking compartment enable
you to place accessories at different heights.

Your appliance has 4 shelf positions. The shelf posi-
tions are numbered from bottom to top.
The shelf supports are equipped with pull-out rails on
one or more levels, depending on the appliance type.
You can remove the shelf supports, e.g. for cleaning.
