Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury to persons, including the following:
1. Use fan only for intended use, as described in instruction manual.
2. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water or spray with liquids.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another, before putting on or taking off parts
and before cleaning.
5. Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects through the grille when fan is running.
6. Disconnect fan before cleaning.
7. Make sure fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid chance of overturning.
8. Do not use fan in a window. Rain may cause an electrical hazard.
9. Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
10. Do not place fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliances.
11. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or
damaged in any manner.
12. To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never yank on cord.
13. Always use on a dry surface.
14. This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
15. Do not use fan near curtains, plants, window treatments, etc.
16. Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for
examination and/or repair.
17. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord
under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.

1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that the
appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced. Please return it to an authorized service representative.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the cord where it enters the
appliance and cause it to fray and break.
NOTE: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). The polarized
plug is not intended to be used in non-polarized outlets (having both slots the same size). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not attempt to modify this plug or override
this safety feature in any way.

This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the

fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product
marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present
and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
REPLACEABLE FUSE
User Servicing Instructions
1. Unplug your fan. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
2. Open fuse cover, located on the top of the plug, by using your thumb or a flat head
screwdriver to slide the cover down toward the prongs.
NOTE: Ensure that fuse cover is completely open before attempting to remove fuse.
3. Remove fuse carefully by using a small screwdriver to pry the fuse out of the
compartment by the metal ends of the fuse.
4. Place plug on a solid, flat surface. Insert new 2.5 Amp, 125 volt fuse into fuse
compartment and use a small screwdriver to secure the metal ends of the fuse into the compartment.
CAUTION: Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 volt fuse.
5. Slide fuse cover closed. If fuse cover is difficult to close, make sure fuse is secured in place by pressing down on
metal ends of the fuse.
6. Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse)
that should not be removed. Discard
product if the attachment plug is damaged.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS
INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT: During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odor. This is normal and will quickly
disappear.
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list. If
any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.

1. Insert the end of the Pillar (O) into the hole of Base (P). Turning the Pillar (O)
while pushing will assure the Pillar (O) is fully seated in the Base (P).
2. At the top of the Pillar (O), loosen the Height Adjustment Knob (N) (turning
counterclockwise). Pull out the Height Adjustable Pole (M) to the desired
height and tighten the Height Adjustment Knob (N) (turning clockwise).

4. Remove the Blade Knob (C) from the shaft of the Motor Housing (G)
(turning clockwise). Remove the Rear Grille Mounting Nut (E) from
the Motor Housing (G) (turning counterclockwise).
5. Set the Rear Grille (F) in the proper position (carry handle up) on the Motor
Housing (G). Make sure that the holes on the Rear Grille (F) fit into the pegs
on the Motor Housing (G). Then screw on the Rear Grille Mounting Nut (E)
(turning CLOCKWISE) until tight. Install the Fan Blade (D) onto the shaft of
the Motor Housing (G), making sure the notch fits over the pin, and screw on
the Blade Knob (C) (turning counterclockwise) while holding the Fan Blade (D)
until tight.
6. Before placing the Front Grille (A), open all 5 Grille Clips (B). Then place
the Front Grille (A) on the Rear Grille (F), fitting the Front Grille notch over
the Rear Grille (F) at the top. Snap down all 5 Grille Clips (B) until they are
locked.
CAUTION: To avoid the risk of personal injury, make sure the Front Grille (A)
and Rear Grille (F) are secured together before operating.
3. Loosen the Adjustable Pole Tightening Knob (L) on the rear of the Upper
Pole (I) (turning counterclockwise). Fit the Upper Pole (I) to the Height
Adjustable Pole (M) and tighten the Adjustable Pole Tightening Knob (L)
(turning clockwise).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Once fan is fully assembled (see Assembly Instructions section), place fan on a dry, level surface. Plug it into a 120V AC
electrical outlet.
Using the Control Panel and Remote Control
This fan is equipped with 3 speeds, a timer and remote control. For your convenience, the buttons on the control panel of
the fan operates the same functions as the remote control.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself. Refer it to
qualified service personnel if servicing is needed.
This fan is permanently lubricated and will not require additional lubrication for the life of the fan.
TO CLEAN:
Before cleaning, turn fan off and unplug from electrical outlet. Wipe off excess dust with a lint-free cloth. To
ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents located at the rear of the motor housing free from dust
accumulation. A vacuum cleaner hose can be used to clean these vents. Do not submerge your fan in water or any other
liquid. Disassemble grilles and blade. Grilles and blade may be cleaned with mild soap and water. Use a soft, slightly damp
cloth to wipe the remaining fan parts. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the motor housing. Reassemble fan
after grilles and blade have dried completely. Do not plug fan into electrical outlet until it has been fully reassembled.
TO STORE:
Make sure to disassemble and clean the fan before storing. Retain the original packaging for the purpose of
storing your fan. Always store fan in a dry place. Never store it while it is still plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly around
the fan, and do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the fan, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

Using the Remote Control
Your remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included) for operation. To install the batteries, simply slide out
the battery cover with your thumb on the mark in the right direction. Insert the batteries according to the indication
shown inside.
Replace the battery cover.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
If the remote control will not be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the battery compartment.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.
Controlling the Fan Oscillation
To oscillate the fan head horizontally (left to right), push down the Oscillation Knob located on the top of the Motor
Housing. To stop fan from horizontal oscillation, pull up the Oscillation Knob.
Adjusting the Height of the Fan
Loosen the Height Adjustment Knob in a counterclockwise direction, adjust the length of the Height Adjustable Pole,
tighten the Height Adjustment Knob in a clockwise direction.
CAUTION: The fan should be switched off before making this adjustment.
Adjusting the Tilt of the Fan Head
To adjust the tilt of the fan head to the desired angle, push gently up or down on the fan grilles while holding the fan
by the Motor Housing.

The manufacturer warrants to the original purchaser that each new product and service part is free from defects in material
and workmanship and agrees to repair or replace under this warranty any defective product or part as follows from the
original date of purchase for a period of one (1) year.

1. Products sold damaged or incomplete, sold “as is”, sold reconditioned or used as rental equipment.
2. Delivery, installation or normal adjustments explained in the owner’s manual.

Lea y comprenda completamente este manual antes de intentar ensamblar, usar o instalar el producto.

FUSIBLE REEMPLAZABLE
Instrucciones de mantenimiento para el usuario
1. Desenchufe el ventilador. Tome el enchufe y retírelo del receptáculo o de cualquier
otro tomacorriente. No jale del cable para desenchufarlo.
2. Abra la cubierta del fusible, ubicada en la parte superior del enchufe, deslizándola
hacia las clavijas con su pulgar o un destornillador de cabeza plana.
NOTA: asegúrese de que la cubierta del fusible esté completamente abierta antes
de retirar el fusible.
3. Con un destornillador pequeño, retire el fusible con cuidado haciendo palanca en los extremos de metal del
fusible para sacarlo del compartimento.
4. Coloque el enchufe sobre una superficie plana y sólida. Inserte el nuevo fusible de 2,5 amperios y 125 voltios en
el compartimento del fusible y use un destornillador pequeño para asegurar los extremos de metal del fusible en
el compartimiento.

4. Retire la perilla del aspa (C) de la eje de la carcasa del motor (G) (girando en
dirección de las manecillas del reloj). Retire la tuerca de montaje de la rejilla
posterior (E) de la carcasa del motor (G) (girando en dirección contraria a las
manecillas del reloj).
5. Coloque la rejilla posterior (F) en la posición correcta (mango de transporte
hacia arriba) en la carcasa del motor (G). Asegúrese de que los orificios de
la rejilla posterior (F) encajen en las estacas de la carcasa del motor (G).
Luego, atornille la tuerca de montaje de la rejilla posterior (E) (girando EN

6. Antes de colocar la rejilla frontal (A), abra los 5 sujetadores de la rejilla(B).
Luego, coloque la rejilla frontal (A) sobre la rejilla posterior (F), encajando
la muesca de la rejilla frontal sobre la rejilla posterior (F) en la parte superior.
Apriete los 5 sujetadores de rejilla (B) hasta que queden bloqueados.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
Una vez que el ventilador esté completamente ensamblado (consulte la sección de instrucciones de ensamblaje),
coloque el ventilador sobre una superficie seca y nivelada. Enchúfelo en un tomacorriente de 120 V CA.
Usar el panel de control y el control remoto
Este ventilador está equipado con 3 velocidades, un temporizador y un control remoto. Para su comodidad, los
botones en el panel de control del ventilador tienen las mismas funciones que el control remoto.

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO
Este electrodoméstico requiere poco mantenimiento y no contiene piezas que el usuario pueda reparar. No intente repararlo
usted mismo. Si es necesario, consulte al personal de servicio calificado.
Este ventilador se lubrica de manera permanente y no requerirá una lubricación adicional durante su vida útil.
PARA LIMPIAR:
antes de limpiar, apague el ventilador y desenchúfelo del tomacorriente. Limpie el exceso de polvo con
un paño suave sin pelusas. Para garantizar una adecuada circulación de aire al motor, mantenga las ventilas ubicadas en la
parte posterior del motor libres de la acumulación de polvo. Se puede usar una manguera de aspiradora para limpiar estas
ventilas. No sumerja el ventilador en agua ni en otro líquido. Desensamble las rejillas y el aspa. Las rejillas y el aspa se
pueden limpiar con jabón suave y agua. Use un paño suave levemente humedecido para limpiar las otras piezas del
ventilador. No permita que ingrese agua ni otro líquido en la carcasa del motor. Vuelva a ensamblar el ventilador cuando las
rejillas y el aspa se hayan secado completamente. No enchufe el ventilador en el tomacorriente hasta que esté
completamente ensamblado.
PARA ALMACENAR:
asegúrese de desensamblar y limpiar el ventilador antes de almacenarlo. Conserve el empaque
original para almacenar el ventilador. Siempre almacene el ventilador en un lugar seco. Nunca lo almacene mientras está
enchufado. Nunca enrolle el cable firmemente alrededor del ventilador ni tense el cable en el lugar donde ingresa al
ventilador, ya que el cable se podría deshilachar o romper.

Usar el control remoto
Su control remoto requiere dos baterías AAA (no incluidas) para su funcionamiento. Para instalar las baterías, simplemente
deslice la tapa de la batería con el pulgar en la marca en la dirección correcta. Inserte las baterías de acuerdo con la
indicación que se muestra en el interior. Coloque de nuevo la cubierta de la batería.
No mezcle baterías antiguas con nuevas.
No mezcle baterías alcalinas con baterías estándar (cinc-carbono) o con recargables (níquel-cadmio).
Si el control remoto no se va a utilizar durante un período prolongado, retire las baterías del compartimiento para baterías.
Las pilas no recargables no deben recargarse.
Las baterías deben insertarse con la polaridad correcta.
Las pilas gastadas deben retirarse del producto.
Controlar la oscilación del ventilador
Para oscilar la cabeza del ventilador en dirección horizontal (de izquierda a derecha) presione la perilla de oscilación
ubicada en la parte superior de la carcasa del motor. Para detener la oscilación horizontal del ventilador, jale la perilla de
oscilación hacia arriba.
Ajustar la altura del ventilador
Afloje la perilla de ajuste de altura en dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj, ajuste la longitud del poste de altura
ajustable y apriete la perilla de ajuste de altura en dirección de las manecillas del reloj.
PRECAUCIÓN: el ventilador se debe apagar antes de realizar este ajuste.
Ajustar la inclinación de la cabeza del ventilador
Para ajustar la inclinación de la cabeza del ventilador al ángulo deseado, Para ajustar la inclinación de la cabeza del
ventilador al ángulo deseado, jale con cuidado las rejillas del ventilador hacia arriba o hacia abajo mientras sujeta el
ventilador desde la carcasa del motor.
