UseMQTTtosendradardata
UsetheradarwiththeapplicationAXISSpeedMonitortocollectradardatafordetectedobjectsandsenditoverMQTT.
ThisexampleexplainshowtosetupanMQTTclientinthedevicewhereyouhaveinstalledAXISSpeedMonitor,andhowtocreatea
conditionthatwillpublishtheradardatacollectedinAXISSpeedMonitorasapayloadtoanMQTTbroker.
Beforeyoustart:
•InstallAXISSpeedMonitorinyourradar,orinstallitinacamerathatyouconnecttoyourradar.
Formoreinformation,seeAXISSpeedMonitorusermanual.
•SetupanMQTTbrokerandgetthebroker’sIPaddress,usernameandpassword.
LearnmoreaboutMQTTandMQTTbrokersinAXISOSPortal.
SetuptheMQTTclientinthewebinterfaceofthedevicewhereyouhaveinstalledAXISSpeedMonitor:
1.GotoSystem>MQTT>MQTTclient>Brokerandenterthefollowinginformation:
-Host:ThebrokerIPaddress
-ClientID:TheIDofthedevice
-Protocol:Theprotocolthebrokerissetto
-Port:Theportnumberusedbythebroker
-ThebrokerUsernameandPassword
2.ClickSaveandConnect.
CreateaconditionthatpublishestheradardataasapayloadtotheMQTTbroker:
3.GotoSystem>MQTT>MQTTpublicationandclick+Addcondition.
4.Inthelistofconditions,underApplication,selectSpeedMonitor:Trackexitedzone.
Thedevicewillnowbeabletosendinformationabouttheradartracksforeverymovingobjectthatexitsascenario.Everyobjectwill
haveitsownradartrackparameters,forexamplermd_zone_name,tracking_id,andtrigger_count.Youcanndthefulllistof
parametersinAXISSpeedMonitorusermanual.
