ControlaPTZcamerawiththebuilt-inradarautotrackingservice
Thebuilt-inradarautotrackingcreatesanedge-to-edgesolutionwheretheradardirectlycontrolsthePTZcamera.Itsupports
allAxisPTZcameras.
ThisinstructionexplainshowtopairaPTZcamerawiththeradar,howtocalibratethem,andhowtosetupthetrackingofobjects.

Youcanusethebuilt-inradarautotrackingservicetoconnectoneradarwithonePTZcamera.Forasetupwhereyouwant
tousemorethanoneradarorPTZcamera,useAXISRadarAutotrackingforPTZ.Formoreinformation,seeControlaPTZ

PairtheradarwiththePTZcamera:
1.GotoSystem>Edge-to-edge>PTZpairing.
2.EntertheIPaddress,usernameandpasswordforthePTZcamera.
3.ClickConnect.
4.ClickCongureRadarautotrackingorgotoRadar>Autotrackingtosetupradarautotracking.
CalibratetheradarandthePTZcamera:
5.GotoRadar>Autotracking.
6.Tosetthemountingheightofthecamera,gotoCameramountingheight.
7.TopanthePTZcamerasothatitpointsinthesamedirectionastheradar,gotoPanalignment.
8.Ifyouneedtoadjustthetilttocompensateforaslopingground,gotoGroundinclineoffsetandaddanoffsetindegrees.
SetupthePTZtracking:
9.GotoTracktoselectifyouwanttotrackhumans,vehiclesand/orunknownobjects.
10.TostarttrackingobjectswiththePTZcamera,turnonTracking.
Thetrackingautomaticallyzoomsinonanobject,oragroupofobjects,tokeepthemintheviewofthecamera.
11.TurnonObjectswitchingifyouexpectmultipleobjectsthatwon’ttinthecameraview.
Withthissetting,theradargivespriorityoftheobjectstotrack.
12.Todeterminehowmanysecondstotrackeachobject,setObjectholdtime.
13.TomakethePTZcamerareturntoitshomepositionwhentheradarnolongertracksanyobjects,turnonReturntohome.
14.TodeterminehowlongthePTZcamerashouldstayatthetrackedobjectslastknownpositionbeforereturningtohome,set
Returntohometimeout.
15.TonetunethezoomofthePTZcamera,adjustthezoomontheslider.
