#1 Under which circumstances do I need to use auto mode ?

When you need a horizontal or vertical angle, please use self leveling mode .

#2 When shall I use manual mode ?

When you need different angles, such as hanging pictures at the side wall of the stairs, please use manual mode. Please note, as it's in locked state, level laser will start at an unhorizontal angle .

#3 Sometimes my level laser tool lines flash, why?

Because the placement angle of the laser level exceeds ±4°. Need manually adjustment of the placement angle to be within the range of ±4°, and it will return to normal.

#4 Can it be attached on stainless steel with the magnetic bracket?

Probably not on most of stainless steel surface. The magnet bracket can not be attached to metail surfaces like gold, silver, copper, aluminum, tin, lead and titanium. It can be attached to iron, nickel, cobalt material surfaces.
