HP support can help you get the most from your computer. You will find what you need with tools located
on your computer and with information available on the web, by phone, or through your local retailer.
How to get help
.You might need to get professional help for your computer. Before you contact HP support, collect the
following information.
● Model number
● Product number
● Serial number
● Software build number
● Operating system
● Purchase date
The operation system and purchase date should already be available to you. To locate the model
number, product number, serial number, and software build number, you can find them in the HP Support
Assistant.
To open the assistant, complete one of these tasks.
● Select the Search icon in the taskbar, type support in the search box, and then select the HP
Support Assistant app.
● Select the question mark icon in the taskbar.
Write down your product information for future reference. Also, be sure to register at
http://www.hp.com/apac/register.
After you have gathered the required information about your computer, use these resources to find help.
● Use the Get Help app for help with hardware and software questions. Select the Start button, select
All apps, and then select the Get Help app.
● Use HP Support Assistant by completing one of these tasks:
– Select the Search icon in the taskbar, type support in the search box, and then select the HP
Support Assistant app.
– Select the question mark icon in the taskbar.
HP Support Assistant provides useful troubleshooting and diagnostics information and includes:
– Online chat with an HP technician
