OVEN
Stand awayfrom the range when opening the oven door. Hot air or steam which escapes can cause
bums to hands, face and/or eyes.
Do not heat unopened flood containers.
Pressurecould build up and the container
could bulst, causing an inju U.
Keep the oven vent unobstructed.
KeeI) the oven flee from grease buildup.
Place the oven ,'ack in the desired position
while the oven is cool. If t'acks must be handled
when hot, do not let pot holder contact the
heating elements.
iJii:iWhen using cooking or roasting bags in the
oven, follow the manufi_ctuter's directions.
Pulling out the t'ack to the stop-lock is a
convenience in lifting heax3 foods. It is also a
precaution against burns flom touching hot
surfilces of the door or oven walls.
Do not use the oven to dU newspape,s.
If overheated, the} can catch on fire.
Do not use the oven for a stot'age area. Items
stored in an oven can ignite.
Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils
or food in the oven when not in use.

any slots, holes or passages in the oven bottom
or cover an entire _'ackwith materials such as
aluminum [0il. Doing so blocks air flow
through the oven and may cause cad)on
monoxide poisoning. Aluminum foil linings
may also map heat, causing a fire hazard.
Do not use aluminum foil to line oven bottoms,
except as suggested in this inanual, hnproper
installation of alulninuln foil may result in a
risk of electric shock or fire.
Make sure the broiler pan is in place conectl)
to reduce the possibilit) of grease fires.
If you should have a grease fire in the broiler
pan, press the Cl.fAl_Offpad and keep the
oven door closed to contain fire until it
buI'nS Otlt.
SELF-CLEANINGOVEN
Donotuseovencleaners.No commercialovencleaneror ovenliner protective coatingof anykindshouldbe
usedin or aroundanypartof theoven.Residuefrom ovencleanerswill damagetheinsideoftheovenwhenthe
self-cleancycleis used,
iJii:iDo not clean the door gasket. The door gasket
is essential for a good seal. Care should be
token not to rub, damage or move the gasket.
iJii:iBe%re selfkleaning the oven, remove the rocks,
broiler pan, grid and other cookware.
iJii:iBe sure to wipe up excess spillage before
starting the self cleaning ope,'ation.
iJii:iIf the self cleaning mode malflmctions, turn the
oven off and disconnect the power supply. Have
it serviced b) a qualified technician.
