4.1.5 Maintenance Mode (Manual Bypass)
A manual bypass switch is available to ensure continuity of supply to the critical load when the UPS is out of order or in
repair and this manual bypass switch bears for equivalent rated load.

4.2 Turning the UPS On/O
4.2.1 Basic Startup
Upon completion of the following procedure, the UPS will support the load in Online Mode or ECO Mode (if enabled).
1. Conrm the battery is connected. Turn on any external battery cabinet breakers (if applicable).
2. Turn ON the Bypass Breaker.
3. Turn ON the Main Input Breaker.
4. Turn ON the Output Breaker.
5. The inverter will perform a slow startup and build up to nominal voltage. The UPS will transfer to Online Mode or ECO
Mode (if enabled) within one to two minutes.
6. Conrm no active alarms are present.
4.2.2 UPS Shutdown
Upon completion of the following procedure, the UPS will be powered o and the load will not be supported.
1. With the UPS in Online Mode or ECO Mode, stop the inverter using the display menu (Home > Common > INV ON/
OFF > INV OFF). The UPS will transfer to Bypass Mode. Conrm the Bypass LED is illuminated and the LCD displays
Bypass Mode before proceeding.
2. Turn OFF the Output Breaker. The load will be dropped.
3. Turn OFF the Main Input breaker.
4. Turn OFF the Bypass breaker. The UPS will power down shortly afterwards. The power-down may take up to 4
minutes.
5. Turn OFF the Battery breaker from the external battery cabinet (if applicable).
