Mounting requirements
• The space between the cabinets must be 30 in. (76.2 cm) wide. If the space between the cabinets is more than 30 in.
(76.2 cm), you’ll need filler material to fill the gap between the microwave and cabinets.
• If the cabinet depth, including the cabinet doors, is more than 13 in. (33 cm), the unit must be spaced out from the wall
using adequate materials capable of supporting 150 lbs. (68 kg) to allow for proper top vent air exhaust/intake. (See
Figure 1)
• If installing the microwave beneath smooth, flat cabinets, make sure that you leave enough space for the power cord
clearance.
• If you are going to vent your exhaust to the outside, see Exhaust requirements
on page 7 for exhaust duct preparation.
