6.2.5 Set Line Crossing Detecon
It is used to detect objects crossing a pre-dened virtual line. If it occurs, the device can take
linkage acons.
Steps
1.
Go to Conguraon → Event → Smart Event → Line Crossing Detecon .

Check Enable.
3.
Select one Line and set the size lter. For the size lter sengs, refer to
Set Size Filter .
4.
Click Draw Area and a line with an arrow appears in the live video. Drag the line to the locaon
on the live video as desired.
5.
Set rules.
Direcon It stands for the direcon from which the object goes across the line.
A<->B: The object going across the line from both direcons can be detected
and alarms are triggered.
A->B: Only the object crossing the congured line from the A side to the B side
can be detected.
