Locking Charging Cable

You may select when the charging
connector can be locked and unlocked in
the charging inlet.

Mode’ in the infotainment.
Information
The charging inlet is locked during
the DC charge regardless of ‘Always
lock’/‘Locking while charging’ mode.
After charging is complete the locked
charging inlet is unlocked.
The charging inlet locks when the V2L
connector is connected, regardless
of the settings of charging connector
locking.
After use, the lights can be turned
off by pressing the switch on the V2L
connector, and the charging inlet can be
unlocked by pressing the vehicle door
unlock button.

Always lock’ mode:
The connector locks when the
charging connector is plugged into
the charging inlet. The connector is
locked until all doors are unlocked by
the driver. This mode can be used to
prevent charging cable theft.
- The charging connector unlocks when
all doors are unlocked. If the charging
cable is not disconnected within 15sec,
it will automatically lock again.
- If the charging connector is
unlocked when all doors are
unlocked, but all doors are locked
again, immediately, the connector
will be automatically locked again.
‘Lock while charging’ mode:
The connector locks when charging
starts. The connector unlocks when
charging is complete. This mode can
be used when charging in a public
charging station.
‘Do not lock’ mode (if equipped):
The connector unlocks regardless
of the state of charging. Press the
charging connector release button,
disconnect the connector. Be careful
portable charger can be stolen if left
unattended.
NOTICE
Avoid using ‘Always lock’ mode at public
stations. Normally public station etiquette
is to allow removal of the charger
connector for use at other vehicles when
your vehicle’s completed charging.
