Consumption data can vary from the nominal values given above depending on the size of the
load, types of textiles, residual moisture levels after spinning and fluctuations in the electricity
supply, or when water hardness levels differ from specified values.
Using the Cottons Extra dry programme is recommended for a mixed cotton load and is the programme
used in energy consumption tests according to AS/NZS 2442 (Refer to http://www.energyrating.gov.au
website for consumption data).
The consumption data displayed by the tumble dryer may differ from the consumption data listed in the
table. The differences are due to how data is calculated in the tumble dryer. For instance, when the
programme running time is calculated, it is influenced by the residual moisture and composition of the
laundry load, which – in turn – has an impact on the amount of energy required.
