Getting started
The ARRIS SURFboard® S33 DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem provides ultra high-speed internet
access over the broadband connection on your home or small business network. You use your
S33 to directly connect a computer or router to your LAN through an Ethernet connection.
This guide provides instructions for installing and setting up your S33 to get it connected on
your home or small business network; as well as viewing and monitoring the S33 operational
status and network configuration settings.
In the box
Before installing your S33, check that the following items are included in the box. If any items
are missing, please call ARRIS customer support at 1-877-466-8646 for assistance.
