● Pour lukewarm water into the empty
water tank up to the “0�5 l” mark and then
dissolve one Thermador descaling tablet
00311823 in it�
Note:
If there is not enough descaling solution in
the water tank, you will be asked to do the
following� Refill using uncarbonated water
and press C again�
● Remove the suction pipe from milk
container, wipe it and insert the end of the
suction pipe into the hole on the coffee
grounds container�
● Close the appliance door�
● Place a container with a capacity of 17 oz
under the beverage outlet�
● Press C� The descaling
program will now run for about
19 minutes�
● Remove the container and press
C�
● Rinse the water tank and (if removed)
replace the water lter.
● Fill the tank with fresh water up to the
“max” indicator�
● Replace the water tank and close the door�
● Place the container underneath the
beverage outlet again�
● Press C� The descaling
program will now run for about 2 minutes
and rinse the appliance�
● Remove the container, empty the drip trays,
replace and close the appliance door�
● Press C� The appliance
has nished descaling and is ready for
use again�
● Press E to exit the program�
Cleaning
Takes about 5 minutes�
● Press E�
● Select “Clean” with the K or L arrow
button�
● Press C� The display
indicates the progress of the program�
● Clean the beverage outlet and replace,
empty the drip trays and replace�
● Open the ground coffee drawer, drop in
a cleaning tablet and close the coffee
drawer�
● Close the appliance door�
● Place a container with a capacity of
17 oz under the beverage outlet�
● Press C� The cleaning
program will now run for about 5 minutes�
● Remove the container, empty the drip
trays, replace and close the appliance
door�
● Press C� The appliance
has nished cleaning and is ready for use
again�
● Press E to exit the program�
Clean & Descale
Takes about 26 minutes�
Clean & Descale combines the functions
Descale and Clean� If both programs are
due to be carried out close together, the
fully automatic coffee machine will automat-
ically suggest this service program�
● Press E�
● Select “Clean & Descale” with the K or
L arrow button�
● Press C� The display indi-
cates the progress of the program�
● Clean the beverage outlet and replace,
empty the drip trays and replace�
● Open the ground coffee drawer, drop in
a cleaning tablet and close the coffee
drawer again�
● Remove the water lter (if there is one)
and press C�
