Use your Smart Dimmer Switch with Alexa
» Control the switch: Tap “Devices” to nd your device and control it with Alexa.
You can use Alexa routines to turn your lights on or o or dim them. You can schedule these
actions at certain times of day, or by voice command.
Create a voice-activated routine
1. Open the Alexa app.
2. Open “More” and select “Routines”.
3. Select “Plus”.
4. Select “When this happens”, then select “Voice”.
5. Type in the phrase you want for the voice command.
Create a scheduled routine
1. Open the Alexa app.
2. Open “More” and select “Routines”.
3. Select “Plus”.
4. Select “When this happens”, then select “Schedule”.
5. Select “At Time” to create a schedule or select “Sunrise” or “Sunset” and choose the days you
want.
Add Dimming or Brightening Bulbs to a Routine
1. Open the Alexa app.
2. Open “More” and select “Routines”.
3. Select your routine, then select “Add action”.
4. Select “Control Device”, then choose your dimmable light.
5. Select “Brightness”.
6. Use the slider bar to choose your starting or ending brightness level.
7. Select “Ramp to Brightness”.
8. Add the length of time for the light to ramp up or down.
