withcookingsurfa~e.

removemodule.
Step2: Lifiuptabatinsideedgeof
moduleuntilbaseclearsthe
openingat thesideofcooktop.
Step3:Tounplug,holdmoduleby
thefrontandbackedgesandslide
towardcenterofcooktop.Liflout
whenunplug@.
Step4:If youarestoringmodules,
donotstackthemorstoreother
materialsontopofthem.Thiscould
damageor marsurfaceofmodules.
BeforeUsingYourSolid
DiskModuleforthe

Thetopworkingsutiaceofsolid
diskelementshaveaprotective
coatingwhich
mustbehardened
beforeusingtheelementsforthe
firsttime.Tohardenthiscoating,
theelementsshouldbeheated
withouta panforapproximately
5 minutesatHIGHsetting.
Otherwisethecoatingwillstick
tothepan.
Therewillbesomesmokeand
odor;thisisnormal.It isnon-
toxicandcompletelyharmless.
Heatingoftheelementwill
changethestainlesssteelelement
trimringstoagoldcolor.
