5. Check to make sure there are no kinks, cuts, or
damageto highpressure hose.

HOW TO USE YOUR
PRESSURE WASH ER

To Start Pressure Washer
To start your pressure washer for the first time, follow
these instructionsstep-by-step. This starting information
also applies ifyou havelet the pressure washer sit idlefor
at least a day.
I. Placepressure washer near an outside water source
capableof supplying water at a flow rate greater than
3.5gallons per minute and no lessthan 20 PSIat
pressure washer end of garden hose.
2. Check that high pressure hose isconnected to spray
gun and pump. See"Preparing PressureWasher for
Use" for illustrations.
3. Make sure unit isin a levelposition.
4. Connect garden hose to water inleton pressure
washer pump. Turn ON the water.
CAUTION
• Damage to equipment resulting from failure to follow this
instruction will void warranty.
5. Squeezetrigger on gun until you havea steady stream
of water. This purges the pump of air and impurities.
6. Attach nozzleextension to spraygun (Figure I I).
Tighten by hand.
7. Place colored quick connect spray tips in slots on
holder that's attached to nozzle extension (Figure 12).
8. Choose spray tip you want to useand insert it into
nozzle extension. See "How to Use SprayTips" on
page I0.
9. Engagesafety latch to spraygun trigger (Figure 13).

10. Start engine according to instructions given in engine
owner's manual.
NOTE: If the recoil starter is hard to pull, it may be
necessary to squeeze the gun trigger to relieve internal
pump pressure.
• Squeeze trigger on spray gun each time recoil starter is
pulled and engine fails to start.
NOTE: Always keep the throttle lever in the "Fast"
position when operating the pressure washer.
How to Stop Pressure Washer
• Turn engine off according to instructions given in engine
owner's manual.
• Simplyshutting off engine will not releasepressure in
system. Squeeze trigger on spray gun to relieve
pressure in hose.
NOTE: A small amount of water will squirt out when you
squeezethe trigger.
