Section 3: Assembly
Connect Hose and Water Supply to
Pump
IMPORTANT: To avoid pump damage,you must
assemblethe nozzle extension to the spraygun and attach
alt hoses before you start the engine.
NOTE: Your pressure washer comes with a quick connect
that you can useto attach the high pressure hose to either
the pump or spraygun.
I. Uncoil high pressurehoseand attach femalequick
connect to one end of hose.Attach malequick connect
to high pressurefittingon pump (Figure7).

Attach high pressure hoseto high pressure outlet on
pump (Figure8). Pull down on collarof quick connect,
slide fitting into pump and let go of collar. Pull on hose
to be sure of a tight connection.
NOTE: The quick connectisshown connecting the high
pressure hose to the pump. If you choose to usethe quick
connect for the gun to hose connection, follow the same
directions to attach quick connect from gun to hose.
3. Attach other end of hose to baseof spray gun
(Figure 9). Tighten by hand.

Before connecting garden hoseto water inlet,inspect
inlet screen (Figure 10).Clean screen if it contains
debris, replace if damaged.DO NOT RUN PRESSURE
WASHER IF SCREENISDAMAGED.
5. Run water through garden hose for 30 seconds to
cleanout any debris. Turn off water.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT siphon standing water for the
water supply.Use ONLY cotd water (lessthan 100°F).
6. Connect garden hose (not to exceed 50 feet in length)
to water inlet.Tightenby hand (Figure 10).
CAUTION
Damage to equipment resulting from failure to follow this
instructionwill void warranty.
7. Turn ON water and squeeze trigger on spray gun to
purge pump system of air and impurities.
WARNING
Always wear eye protection when usingthis equipment or in
vicinity of where equipment is in use.
Before starting the pressure washer, be sure you are wearing
adequate eye protection.
Checklist Before Starting Engine
Review the unit's assembly to confirm you have performed
all of the following:
I. Make sure handle is in place and secure.
2. Check that oil has been added to proper level in
enginecrankcase.
3. Add properfuelto fueltank.
4. Check for properlyattachedhose connections.
