SETTING ANGLE OF AIR FLOW

Se�ingverticalangleofairﬂow

While the unit is on, use the SWING/DIRECT button on remote control to set the direction (vertical angle)

ofairﬂow.RefertoRemote Control section for details.

Note:

When using COOL or DRY mode, do not set louver at a vertical an angle for long periods of time. This can

causewatertocondenseonthelouverblade,whichwilldroponyourﬂoororfurnishings.

When using COOL or HEAT mode, setting the louver at a vertical an angle can reduce the performance of

theunitduetorestrictedairﬂow.

Se�inghorizontalangleofairﬂow

Thehorizontalangleoftheairﬂowmustbesetmanually.Gripthedeﬂectorrod(SeeFig.B)andmanually

adjustittoyourpreferreddirection.Forsomeunits,thehorizontalangleoftheairﬂowcanbesetby

remote control. Refer to Remote Control section for details.
