Before Setting Oven
Controls
Arranging Oven Racks
ALWAYS ARRANGE OVEN RACKS WHEN THE OVEN IS COOL (PRIOR
TO OPERATING THE OVEN). Always use oven mitts when usingthe oven.
Oven Vent Location
The oven vent is located under the left rear surface element. When the
oven is on, warm air isreleased through the vent. This venting is necessary
for proper air circulationinthe oven and good baking results.
REMOVING & REPLACING OVEN RACKS
To remove, pullthe rack forward untilitstops. Liftup finn'
of rack and slide out.To replace, fitthe rackontothe
guides on the oven walls. Tiltthe front of the rack upward
and slide the rack back into place.
ARRANGING OVEN RACKS WITH 5 RACK POSITIONS
To bake on 1 rack, place the rack on position3 or 4. To
bake on 2 racks, place the rackson positions2 and 4.

To Set or Change the Temperature for Normal Baking
The oven can be programmed to bake at any temperature from 170°F to
550°F (65°C to 287°C).
To Set the Controls for Normal Baking:

adjusted in 5°F (1°C) increments.
