at least 1/4".
To eliminate tile risk ofbmns or fire when
reaching over hot suflilce elements, cabinet
storage space ab()ve the cooklop should be
avoided. If cabinet storage space is to be
provided ab()ve tile cooktop, the risk can be
reduced by installing a range hood that sticks
out at least 5" be)x md the fiont of the cabinets.
Cabinets installed ab_)ve a cooktop may be no
deeper than 13".
