Adjusting the equalizing parameters
You can adjust the bass and treble levels and select the
subwoofer mode. The settings available here are stored
individually for each sound field.
To adjust the bass and treble levels
Press BASS +/- or TREBLE +/- repeatedly on the remote.
The levels change between -5 and +5.
To adjust the subwoofer mode
Press S.WOOFER MODE repeatedly on the remote to
display the desired mode on the front panel display.
• SUB WOOFER 1: produces a powerful bass sound that
is ideal for movies.
• SUB WOOFER 2: provides more subtle effects suitable
for music.
• OFF: mutes the sound from the subwoofer.
Note
The subwoofer mode enhances the bass sound. However, you
may not notice much difference depending on the program
source.
Resq
You can reset all the customized settings to the factory
preset settings except for the settings made in the control
menu display (page 36) or setup display (page 49).
1 PressAMP MENU repeatedly on the remote to
display <<CUSTOMIZE>> on the front panel display.
2 Select "MEMORY CLEAR N" (N:No) using the f/_,
buttons.
3 Select "MEMORY CLEARY" (Y:Yes) using the
_l,-/_i_ buttons, then press ENTER.
"Are you sure?N" appears on the front panel display.

Select "Are you sure?Y" using the _-,/,,1_ buttons,
then press ENTER.
"ALL CLEAR!" appears on the front panel display and
all the customized settings for the sound fields are
reset to the default ones.
Youcan change the dimmer level ofthe front panel display in the
<<CUSTOMIZE>> men_. See page 33.
Note
This operation resets the preset radio stations, too.
