YourWORX JAWSAW has been designed for
consumer use only. It is intended for pruning
branches and cutting small logs up to 4 inches
(100mm) in diameter.
NOMENCILATUER
a) Bucking -The process of cross cutting a
felled tree or log into lengths.
b) JawSaw power head- A JawSaw without
the saw chain and guide bar.
c) Drive Sprocket or Sprocket -The toothed
part that drives the saw chain.
d) Front Handle -The support handle located
at or toward the front of the JawSaw.
e) Guide Bar-A solid railed structure that
supports and guides the saw chain.
f) Normal Cutting Position -Those positions
assumed in performing the bucking and
delimbing cuts.
g) Oiler ControI-A system for oiling the
guide bar and saw chain.
h) Rear handle (push handle) -The support
handle located at the rear of the saw.
i) Replacement Saw Chain -A chain that
is the saw manufacturer's replacement
catalogue (or equivalent) number.
j) Saw Chain-A loop of chain having cutting
teeth, that cut the wood, and that is driven
by the motor and is supported by the
guide bar.
k) Trigger Switch -A device that when
operated will complete or interrupt an
electrical power circuit to the motor of the
JawSaw.
I) Switch Linkage-The mechanism that
transmits motion from a trigger to the
switch.
m) Lock out button -A movable stop that
prevents the unintentional operation of the
switch until manually actuated.

of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons,

b) POLAR|ZED PLUGS
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
equipment has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other).This plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. if it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician
to install the proper outlet. Do not change the
plug in any way.

work area, secure footing, and a planned
retreat path from the falling limbs.
