(16)(SeeFigI).Thereislittleexcesschain
length,therefore,thechainmustbe
properlyfittedinthebarslottoprovide
enoughextrachaintobepulledoverthe
drivesprocket.
10.Checkifallpartsareseatedproperly(See
FigJ).
11.Refitandtightenthechaintensionerbolt.
Notethecam(e)ofthetensionerwill
engagetheprojectingtab(f)ofthebar
mountingplateandpushthebaroutward
totensionthechain,checkforcorrect
tension(SeeADJUSTINGTHECHAIN
TENSION).
12. Close the access cover and remove the
lock pin.
CHECKING THE AUTOMATIC OILER
The JawSaw uses a much lower chain speed
than a conventional chainsaw so it needs
much less oil.
However it is very important that it always has
oil.
Check the oil level window (5) and refill as
necessary.
During operation, periodically check the
chain and bar. A slight oil presence should be
visible. If the chain and bar appear completely
dry, then remove the bar and chain (see
previous section) to ensure the bar oil hole is
not blocked.
Ifthe oil hole is clear, there is oil in the tank
and still no oiling ofthe chain is visible -
contact Worx customer service (contact 1-866-
354-9679).
WARNING: Do not push the rear handle
repeatedly when the saw is not cutting.The oil
will be bumped out when pushing the handle
whatever the motor runs or not.
I, UBRICATION
|MPORTANT: The JawSaw is shipped
with an empty oi| ta,k. it is esse,tia|
to fill with chai, oil before use. Mr a,d
__ chain oil of any brand can he used.
Never operate the JawSaw without
chain oi| or an empW tank as this wi||
result in poor cutting performance,
motor overload and possible hum-out.
FILLING OIL TANK:
UNPLUG THE TOOL UEFORE FILLING
WITH OIL.
1. Fill oil bottle with bar oil. (See Fig. K)
2. Rest the JawSaw with the oil filler (6) facing
u pwa rd
3. Lift the rubber oil filler flap (g) open.
4. Use bottle to fill oil reservoir. (See Fig. L)
5. Close the rubber oil filler flap by pressing
the plug part of the flap into the oil filler to
seal. (See Fig. M)
_ MPORTANT: Use only the
recommended oil to avoid damage
to the JawSaw. Never use recycled/old oil.
Use of non approved oil will invalidate the
warranty.

Always wear protective gloves
when installing or removing the chain,
the chain is sharp and ca,, cut you when
it is not running.
ATTACHING EXTENSION CORD
1. To prevent disconnection of appliance
cord, secure extension cord to extension
cord retainer.
2. An extension cord retainer is supplied to
reduce strain on the power cord.To use
this feature, form a loop atthe end of the
extension cable and bring this through the
