Backlight brightness
dimmed
The brightness of the dimmed sensors
in the control panel can be set to one
of 7 different levels.
The brightness will change as soon as a
different setting is chosen.
Options
= darkest level
= factory setting

= brightest level
Network
The , and programmable
functions are only displayed if the
requirements for using Miele@home
have been met (see “Miele@home”
and “Before using for the first time”).
Switching off Wi-Fi
The network configuration should be
reset whenever the dryer is being
disposed of or sold, or if a used dryer
is being put into operation. This is the
only way to ensure that all personal
data has been removed and, in the
case of the latter, the previous owner
will no longer be able to access the
appliance.
Turn the programme selector
toMobileStart.

the tumble dryer.
Touch the sensor on the tumble
dryer and hold the sensor until the
countdown in the time display has
finished.

A new connection set-up has to be
carried out in order to use
Miele@home again.
RemoteUpdate
The RemoteUpdate function is used for
updating the software in your tumble
dryer. If an update is available for your
tumble dryer, it will automatically
download it. Updates will not be
installed automatically. They must be
initiated manually.
If you do not install an update, you can
continue to use your tumble dryer in the
usual way. However, Miele
recommends installing updates.
Activation
Miele’s RemoteUpdate function can
only be used if the tumble dryer is
connected to a Wi-Fi network (see
“Settings - Miele@home”) and you have
an account in the Miele App. The dryer
must be registered in the App. See the
Miele App for terms and conditions of
use.
