1,. Move Lift Lever (Fig 37) forward to lower mower to its
lowest position
2, Remove Drive V-Belt from Engine Pulley (Fig 45),
3 Pull Retainer Spring (both sides of mower) from pin
of Suspension Arms_ Remove Washers and Lift Links from
Suspension Arm Pins,
4,, Remove Retainer Springs (front and rear - both sides) from
Front and Rear Hanger Brackets, Also remove Washers on
Rear Hanger Brackets Remove Suspension Arms from
Hanger Brackets
5 Remove Retainer Spring from Lower Clutch Rod Remove
Lower' Clutch Rod from Clutch Strap
6_ Pull mower from underneath tractor from R H side,
TO REPLACE MOW :R
1o Reposition mower under tractor°
2o Reverse above procedure,
LUBRUCATUON o MOWER
Under normal usage the Mandrels should be lubricated after
every 50 hours of operation or at the end of the season which-
ever comes first Each Mandrel should be filled with grease (six
shots) thru the Grease Fitting located between Mower Blade
and underside of the Mower Housing (Fig 40) Wipe fitting
clean before greasing, Use high performance, extreme pressure
lubricating grease,, Amdex No t EP,, or equivalent, This grease
may be obtained by ordering thru your nearest Sears Repair
Parts Department Part No 2557R,

When mower is to be stored for a period of time, clean it
thoroughly, remove all dirt, grease, leaves, etco Give blades and
underside of housing a good coat of grease or rust preventa-
tive. Store in a clean dry area.
