10.6 Ordering Replacement
Water Filters
Use original spare parts only. Please
contact an Authorised Service Centre
To replace the water lter:
It is not necessary to turn the water
supply o to change the lter. Be ready
to wipe up any small amounts of water
released during the lter replacement.
1. Turn o the ice maker by pressing
and holding the Ice Maker button on
the display until no longer illuminated.
2. Push down on front edge of lter
cover. Cover will tilt down and
expose water lter.
3. Remove the old lter by rotating
it counter-clockwise (to the left)
90 degrees to release it.
4. Slide the old lter cartridge straight
out of the housing and discard it.
5. Unpackage the new lter cartridge.
Slide it into the lter housing as far as
it will go with the grip end horizontal.
6. Push lightly inward on the lter while
rotating it clockwise (to the right).
The lter will then pull itself inward
as it is rotated. Rotate the lter
90 degrees until it stops and the grip
end is vertical. A very light click may
be heard as the lter locks into place.
7. Press a drinking glass against the
water dispenser while checking for
any leaks at the lter housing. Any
spurts and sputters that occur as
the system purges air out of the
dispenser system are normal.
8. Continue dispensing water for
3-4 minutes. It may be necessary to
empty and rell the container several
times.
9. Turn on the ice maker by pressing
and holding the Ice Maker button
on the display until it is illuminated.
10. Press and hold the Reset Water
Filter button on the display for three
seconds. When indicator is no longer
illuminated, the water lter status has
been reset.
11. Replace lter cover by pushing up
and snapping into place.
