Usin l the CAMCORDER - Basic Recordin l

1. Connect a Power source to the camcorder.
(See page 26)
(A battery pack or the AC power adapter)
• Inserta cassette. (See page 49)
2. Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the power
switch to REC mode.
• Open the LCD monitor.
• If the protectiontab of the cassette is open, the
words STOP and PROTECTION! will be displayed.
• Make sure the image you want to record appears
on the LCD monitor or viewfinder.
• Make sure the battery level indicates that there is
enough remaining power for your expected
recording time.
3. To start recording, pressthe START/STOP button.
• REC isdisplayed on the LCD.
To stop recording, press the START/STOP button
again.
• STBY is displayed on the LCD.
