Replacing t he Drum Unit
The drum unit that com es with t he product needs t o be replaced aft er printing
approxim ately 12,000 pages. When the drum unit is running low, you will be
prom pt ed wit h a [ Dr um Unit Low ] m essage through t he print er m onit oring
program – [ Avision St a t us M on itor] . Buy a new t oner cart ridge and have it
ready before you receive [ Replace Dr um Unit ] m essage.
Follow t hese steps to replace t he t oner cart ridge：
Rem oving t he Drum Unit and t he Tone r Cart ridge Assem bly
4. Turn off t he power and rem ove t he power cord from the power out let .
5. Open t he front cover by pulling the handles on bot h sides as shown.
3 . Lift the handle of the drum and the toner cartridge assem bly and gent ly
rem ove the assem bly.
