Fuser :
The area around the fuser is hot . To avoid a burn inj ury, be careful not t o t ouch
the fuser unt il it cools down and follow these st eps t o rem ove t he j am m ed
paper:
1 . Open t he Fron t Cover and the
Rear Cover .
2 . Pull dow n the Fuser Pa t h as
indicat ed.
3 . Pull down t he Re lea se Arm on
bot h sides.
4 . Slowly rem ove the j am m ed paper.
5 . I f there is difficult y to pull off t he j am m ed paper, rem ove the print er
cartridge first.
6 . Rot at e t he Release Wheel to slowly pull out the j am m ed paper.
