4, Slide spindle through opening on right side of
tailstockand thread spindle through handwheel as
shown. The groove in spindle must line up with
spindle lock hole.

5. From the loose parts bag find thespindle lock. The
appearance and shape of spindle lock isshown in
illustration. Screw lock into spinc_lelock hole as
shown, Tip of spindle lock must fit intogroove in
spindle to prevent spindle rotation.
