4. Attach the hose coupler to the water port on your deck surface. See Figure
17.

5. Turn the water on.
6. While sitting in the operators position on the riding mower, start the engine and
place the throttle in the FAST position.
7. Engage the PTO.
8. Remain in the operators position with the cutting deck engaged for a
minimum of two minutes, allowing the underside of the cutting deck to
thoroughly rinse.
9. Disengage the PTO.
10. Press or remove the ignition key.
11. Turn the water off and detach the hose coupler from the water port on your
deck’s surface.
12. After cleaning your deck with the deck wash system, return to the operator’s
position and engage the PTO. Keep the cutting deck running for a minimum of
two minutes, allowing the underside of the cutting deck to thoroughly dry.
Tires
WARNING
Never exceed the maximum inflation pressure shown on the sidewall of
the tire.
Refer to the tire sidewall for exact tire manufacturers recommended or maximum psi. Do
not overinflate. Uneven tire pressure could cause the cutting deck to mow unevenly.
Lubrication
WARNING
Before lubricating, repairing, or inspecting, always disengage PTO, set
parking brake, stop engine and remove key to prevent unintended starting.
Front Wheels
Each of the front wheel axles and rims is equipped with grease fittings. See Figure 18.
Lubricate with a No. 2 multi-purpose grease applied with a grease gun after every 25
hours of riding mower operation.

Steering Supports
Under the frame of the riding mower there are two grease fittings for the steering
supports. Lubricate with a No. 2 multi-purpose grease applied with a grease gun after
every 25 hours of riding mower operation. See Figure 19.
