Wash Cycles
The wash cycles are designed for specific types of wash loads. Select the cycle that best matches the load
contents for maximum wash performance and fabric care. See Sorting Laundry section for best results,
and follow the fabric care labels on your garments. For a guide to fabric care symbols, see Sorting
Laundry section.
Cycle Guide
Turn the knob to select the desired cycle. When you select a wash cycle, the standard presets appear in the
display.
NOTE
Whenever load weights are mentioned, assume 1 lb (0.45 kg) = 1 thick bath towel (dry).
Default Cycles
These cycles are in the initial cycle list.
Temperature indicator lights up and the selected setting is shown in
the knob display: Tap ColdA, ColdB, WarmC, HotD or Ex. HotE
Spin indicator lights up and the selected setting is shown in the knob
display: No SpinA, LowB, MediumC, HighD or Ex. HighE
Soil indicator lights up and the selected setting is shown in the knob
display: LightA, Med. LightB, MediumC, Med. HeavyD, HeavyE
Cycle Normal
Description Use to wash all normal items such as cotton, linen, shirts, jeans or mixed loads, except
delicate fabrics such as wool or silk.
•Pressing the Start/Pause button without selecting a cycle will cause the Normal
cycle to begin immediately, using the default settings.
Wash Temp. Default: Warm Available: All
Spin Speed Default: High Available: Ex. High, High, Medium, Low
Soil Level Default: Medium Available: All
Cycle AI Wash
Description This cycle adjusts wash and rinse patterns automatically after detecting load size and soil
level.
Wash Temp. Default: Warm Available: Warm, Cold, Tap Cold
Spin Speed Default: High Available: Ex. High, High, Medium, Low
Soil Level Default: Medium Available: Medium
