4. Unlock the lid after use. That will prevent pressure from being applied to the foam gasket.
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
1.If making a bag from a roll, make sure one end of bag is
sealed.
2.Adjust the bag and try again. Make sure the open end of the
bag is down
inside the Vacuum Channel.
3.Leave 5-7cm space between open end of bag and bag
contents.
4.Check for wrinkles in bag along Sealing Strip.
5.Open unit and make sure Gaskets are inserted properly and
there are no
foreign objects, dirt or debris on the Upper or
Lower Gasket.
6.Gaskets may be compressed. Unlock the lid and allow 10 to
20 minutes for
Gaskets to expand.
7.Make sure the lid is locked properly. If the two sides of the lid
are not
locked entirely, there will be a leak between the
Gaskets.
1.Too much liquid in bag, freeze before vacuuming.
2.Check for food debris around seal area. If present, take out the Gasket,
clean it and reinsert Gasket into Vacuum Channel.
3.Bag has wrinkles.
1.Take out the Gasket, clean it and reinsert the Gasket.
2.Contact an authorized party or the manufacturer for replacement.
1.Make sure unit is plugged in and wall outlet is functional.
2.Make sure appliance is turned on.
3.If appliance is not in use for a long time and being kept in a humid
environment, the humidity may cause crash/damage to the circuit board.
Move appliance to dry and restart.
4.Contact an authorized party or the manufacturer for replacement.
1.Examine the seal. A wrinkle along the seal may cause air to re-enter the
bag.
2.Sometimes moisture or food material along seal prevents bag from sealing
properly. Cut bag open, wipe top inside of bag and reseal.
3.Sharp food items may have punctured bag.
4.Fermentation or the release of natural gases from inside the foods may
have occurred. When this happens, food may have begun to spoil and
should be discarded.
Sealing strip may have become too hot. Always wait about 60 seconds for
appliance to cool down before you vacuum package another item.
