Maintenance Schedule
EVERY MONTH

Manuallyoperate door.Ifit is unbalanced or binding, call a trained door systems technician.

Check to be sure door opens and closesfully. Adjust if necessary,see page 22.

Test the safetyreversal system. Adjust if necessary, see page 23.
EVERY YEAR
l
Oil door rollers,bearingsand hinges.The garage door opener doesnotrequire additional
lubrication.Do notgrease the door tracks.
EVERY TWO TO THREE YEARS
l
Use a rag to wipe away the existing grease from the garage door opener rail. Reapply a small
layer of white lithium grease to the top and underside ofthe rail surface where the trolley
slides.
The Remote Control Battery
To preventpossible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:

NEVER allow small children near batteries.
l
If battery is swallowed, immediatelynotify doctor.
To reduce risk of fire, explosion or chemical burn:
l
Replace ONLY with CR2032 coin batteries.
l
DO NOT recharge, disassemble, heatabove 212°F (100°C) or incinerate.
To replace the battery, pry open the case in the middle,then at each side with the
visor clip. Insertreplacementbattery positive side up (+). Replace the batteries with
only3V CR2032 coin cell batteries.Dispose of old batteries properly.
