MODEL UCC15NP*

Cleaning the ice machine involves adding a cleaner to

the ice machine.

You should use rubber gloves when using the scale

remover. To order cleaner, go to GEApplianceParts.com

or call 877-959-8688. Order part number WX01X40745.

1. Pour 3 ounces of cleaner into the squirt bottle.

batch of ice is released. This could take up to 30

minutes.

3. Scoop out and discard all of the ice in the ice bin.

Clean button for 3 seconds to begin cleaning

function. The Time to Clean light will start to flash.

5. After the Time to Clean light starts flashing, add the

3 ounces of cleaner from the squirt bottle as shown.

6. The icemaker will continue the cleaning process.

This can take up to one hour. When the process is

complete, the Time to Clean light will turn off.

7. Pour approximately 1/2 gallon of hot (95-115°F)

water into the bin to flush out the bin.

8. Mix one ounce of cleaner with one quart of water

and clean the ice bin, interior door and gasket

surfaces.

ounce of household bleach with 2 gallons of water

into the bin.

10. Rinse the bin again with hot water.

11. Push and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to

restart ice making.

The ice scoop should also be washed regularly.

2. Turn off the water supply.

3. Models with a drain pump installed should have about

4. Turn off and unplug the machine.

NOTE: When placing the icemaker back in service
