Always observe USDA food safety
guidelines.

Do not use the appliance to heat up
or can food in sealed jars or
containers.
Pressure will build up inside them
and they can explode causing
damage to the appliance, as well as
the risk of injury and scalding.
Only use jars designed for canning:
"Convection Bake" : Jars with

bottling jars sealed with clips or clear
adhesive tape.
Sparking can be cause by metal

ackets on jars!
Close the jars with clear adhesive
tape or with clips suitable for

rowave use. Never use metal
clips or jars with screw-on lids.
Preparation
The instructions below are for 5 16
oun
ce (0.5 liter) glass jars.

repare the jars in the usual way. Fill
the jars up to 3/4" (2 cm) below the
rim.
Inser
t the glass tray on shelf level 1
and place the jars on it.
