Recording to USB1
You can record a various sound source to USB1 while
listening (Play or pause) to music or enjoying DJing.
(USB, PORTABLE, RADIO (FM))
1. Connect the USB device to USB1 port on the
unit.
2. Press USB REC / DEMO to start when you want
to record.
3. To pause recording, press USB REC / DEMO on
the unit.
4. To stop recording, press and hold
USB REC / DEMO on the unit for 3 seconds.
Recording in MIXER ON mode
Recording is available in MIXER ON mode. If you
record in MIXER ON mode, the unit records the mixed
sound from that point when you press USB REC/
DEMO.
1. Start mixing. (page 19).
2. Start the recording by pressing USB REC/DEMO
on the unit.
To stop recording, press and hold USB REC/
DEMO on the unit to stop recording. Otherwise,
the recording continues.
Pausing recording
During USB playback or pause, or external sound
source recording, press USB REC / DEMO on the unit
to pause recording. Press it again to restart recording.
(Except USB Copying)

VOICE CANCELLER or KEY CHANGER
will be reset, if you use recording function
during operating VOICE CANCELLER or KEY
CHANGER.

VOICE CANCELLER or KEY CHANGER can
not be operated during recording.

Note
To select recording bit rate
1. Press and hold USB REC / DEMO on the unit for
3 seconds.
2. Press
C/V
on the SIDE A/1 of the unit to
select a bit rate.
3. Press USB REC / DEMO on the unit to finish the
setting.
Copying file from USB2 to USB1
You can copy audio les from USB2 to USB1 quickly.
1. Connect the USB device to USB1 port on the
unit.
2. Connect a USB device including desired audio files
to USB2 port on the unit.
3. Press F to select USB2 function.
4. Press USB REC / DEMO to start copying.
- Press USB REC / DEMO while displaying total
folder and le index, All les on USB2 will be
copied.
- Press USB REC / DEMO while displaying folder
name. All les on the folder will be copied.
- Press USB REC / DEMO while displaying le
index or name. The le will be copied.

You can copy as described above even if
power on/off status or function switched
status.
