Activate voice command response on the smart‐
phone for this purpose.
1.
Press and hold the button on the
steering wheel for approx. 3 seconds.
Voice command response is activated on the
smartphone.
2.
Release the button.
If activation is successful, a confirmation ap‐
pears on the Control Display.
If it was not possible to activate voice command
response, the list of Bluetooth devices appears
on the Control Display.
Possible commands
General information
Most menu items on the Control Display can be
voiced as commands.
The available commands depend on the menu
that is currently displayed on the Control Display.
There are short commands for many functions.
You may select list entries such as phone list en‐
tries via voice activation. Read these list entries
out loud exactly as they are shown in the respec‐
tive list.
Having possible commands read
aloud
You can have available commands read out loud
for you: ›Voice commands‹.
E.g., if the "Settings" menu is displayed, the
commands for the settings are read out loud.
Executing functions using short
commands
It is possible to execute functions on the main
menu directly using short commands, from al‐
most any menu item. For example, ›Vehicle
status‹.

The list for short commands of the voice activa‐
tion system can be called up via the Integrated
Owner's Manual on the Control Display.
