Turning on the machine

Make sure that the machine is turned off (the main
power switch is set to “ ”), and then plug the power
cord into the power supply jack on the right side of the
machine.

Insert the plug of the power cord into a household
electrical outlet.

Press the right side of the main power switch on the
right side of the machine to turn the machine on (set it
to “I”).
The light, LCD and the “Start/Stop” button light up
when the machine is turned on.
Turning off the machine
When you are finished using the machine, turn it off. In
addition, before transporting the machine to another location,
be sure to turn it off.

Make sure that the machine is not sewing.

Press the main power switch on the right side of the
machine in the direction of the “ ” symbol to turn
the machine off.
Memo
• When the machine is turned on, the needle and
the feed dogs will make a sound when they move;
this is not a malfunction.
• If the machine is turned off in the middle of sewing
in the “Sewing” function, the operation will not
resume after turning the power on again.
