Cleaning and care
Pan supports and spillage tray:
The pan supports can be lifted off. Use
hot soapy water to remove any food
remains burnt onto the pan supports.
Note: There is only one correct position
in which the pan supports can be
placed back onto the hob.
To clean the spillage tray, first remove
the pan supports and then wipe the tray
clean with a wet cloth. Finally, polish the
tray dry.
Replacement rubber feet for the pan
supports can be purchased from your
local service centre.
Hob burners:
Clean the enamel burner caps with hot
soapy water.
Carefully clean the ignition electrodes
and the gap in between with a damp
cloth.
The blank metal parts of the burners can
change colour during use. Clean these
parts with a cleaning agent that is
specifically suitable for use on
aluminium.
Do not put the parts of the burners into
a dishwasher.
Observe the following when refitting the
parts of the burners:
All parts must be dry before they are
refitted.
–Make sure they are level.
–When they have been refitted, the
flame must be uniform all the way
round the circumference.
If a burner cap is not level after it has
been refitted, not only will it be more
difficult to ignite the flame but it is also
possible that damage will occur or there
will be an unpleasant smell of gas as a
result.
