4. Use Guide

4.1 Taking a Measurement

  1. Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface.
  2. Step onto the scale barefoot, ensuring your feet are clean, dry, and making full contact with the metal electrodes.
  3. Stand still, with your feet slightly apart. Do not move during the measurement.
  4. The scale will first display your weight.
  5. It will then proceed to measure body composition. The display will show icons or values for heart rate and balance rate.
  6. Once the measurement is complete (usually after 5-10 seconds), the final weight will be displayed again, and the scale will turn off automatically.
  7. If your phone is nearby with the app open, the detailed body composition data will be transferred and displayed in the app.

  • Batteries: Replace the AAA batteries when the display becomes dim or the scale fails to turn on. Remove batteries if the scale will not be used for an extended period.
  • Handling: Avoid dropping the scale or placing heavy objects on it beyond its maximum capacity (227 kg / 500 lb).

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Solution
Scale does not turn on. Check and replace the 3 AAA batteries. Ensure they are inserted correctly.
Inconsistent or fluctuating readings. Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat, and level surface (not on carpet). Stand still during measurement.
Scale displays "Err" or "Lo". "Err" may indicate an overload or sensor error. "Lo" indicates low battery. Replace batteries.
Bluetooth does not connect to the app. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Restart the app and the scale. Ensure your phone's OS is iOS 8.0+ or Android 6.0+. Delete the old pairing from your phone's Bluetooth settings and try again.
Body composition data seems inaccurate. Ensure your user profile in the app (height, age, gender, athlete mode) is correct. Measurements are most consistent when taken at the same time of day, under similar conditions (e.g., before eating and exercising).
App does not show data after weighing. Ensure the app is open or running in the background on your phone. Check that the scale's Bluetooth icon is solid (connected). Try stepping on the scale again.
