category in the IR SET list for the player to

Set the COMMAND MODE selector on the
back panel of the non-compatible CD player to
“CD1” and set the category in the IR SET list for
the player to “CD1” (see page 16).
When using a non-Sony CD player
in conjunction with Sony CD
players
Program the remote to control the non-Sony CD
player (see page 16).

Customizing the input list
You can set the remote to display only the inputs
you use in the input list.
1 Press RM SET UP.
The set up list appears.
2 Move the easy scroll key to select
“INPUT LIST”, then press the key to
enter the selection.
The INPUT LIST list appears.
“*” in front of the input name means that
the input is displayed in the input list.
3 Move the easy scroll key to select the
input not to be displayed in the input
list, then press the key to enter
selection.
“*” disappears for the selected input.
To display the input in the
function list
In step 3, press the key repeatedly until “*”
appears again.
Using the auto power function
With the auto power function turned on, Sony
AV and TV components automatically turns on
and the TV switches to the selected input mode.
This function works for Sony components only.
